We do a lot of home beautification, murals and faux finishes. We do free estimates. We also help remodel businesses with upgrades that renew their public image. Stores we have remodeled have become much more profitable.

Business murals and sculptures we completed lately
Here is our mural at Von Maur and our faux stone and faux wood columns at Canfield's. We think they were projects that changed the feelings of the spaces and hopefully helped out these businesses. The Canfield's store is locally owned and we enjoyed getting to know the folks there pretty well over the months it took to do the work. Thanks especially to Pam Conyers-Hinson who subcontracted to help me on this! Her sculpting and painting skills are awesome! A good group of people!
Our Magic City Mural
We put a clear coat on our 24th and N street mural. I think it has the feeling of looking at a butterfly through a microscope. We had a good meal with the young men from the area who helped us. They really seemed to enjoy the experience. The appreciated the income as well of course. We built some good relationships with them and the people we met in the neigborhood!
A documentary about our Metropolitan Community College mural was presented
This is a link to a not yet finished draft to a film made about our project that was shown at the unveiling. https://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fvimeo.com%2F108411890&h=VAQFyjHW6&enc=AZP0eZdk41B_seQ7SydPPxJM4mY8o1e72JYOGdT6XUiQ6jdRey4MMl4p_eOMgXFkB0BFNZtGEJjGqPHBfCbmsw1PncKNaQo81w_6wJUjhnRmQm95UlPwRmv68xattoWJ1qkK-lroS20TUBv0BJ66pY2J&s=1

We had a memorable time on 24th and N yesterday
Mike, Rigo, Victor, Jerek, and Jair, and I continued to work on the background shapes and textures of our latest mural yesterday. 24th street is full of life, especially on the weekend. We even had a troop of singers across the street doing choral music for an hour or more while we painted. Rebecca brought us supplies and continues to refine the drawings for the next step.

Work has begun on the 24th and N mural
With a great team of high school and college boys from the South Omaha area who enjoy working in aerosol paint, and with assistance from the Kent Bellows Studios ( a mentoring youth in the arts program) we got an over-all texture on our mural today. It was great fun. And it was eye opening for me to experience aerosol paint other than airbrush or airless sprayer. It does have a lot to offer an artist!

Community meetings for mural we are doing at 24th and n!
A new project, working with local youth and aerosol paint! And we need help from the community to generate the images. I am excited about this. I spent the afternoon yesterday handing out flyers and talking to people on 24th street (between o and n streets.). I dug out my high school Spanish skills a couple times, which was fun. The community of this area is so full of life and spirit, I hope we can help to make that spirit a little more visible, and connect that contemporary community now to it's rich history!
Thanks to the South Omaha Business Assosciation and the Nebraska Arts Council for making this Possible.

Recent photos of our work and a generational story
Frank Foreman the oldest barber in Nebraska at one point had his shop in what is now the south side of the Bohemian cafe. His grandson came by this week to see the image of his grandpa we painted and we got his picture posing next to Frank.

Progress on 13th Street Mural
Here is our work so far on our mural about the neighborhood around 13th and William in Omaha. Lots of community meetings and lots of research went into it see more at Facebook.com/13th streetmuralomaha. Can you find the references in the mural to the photos below it? The paintings are from Alphonse Mucha, who is a Czech artist. One of the houses is the one Phil Whorley grew up in. One of the street scenes is from 1951.

13th street community mural
We have been having community meetings and interviewing all kinds of residents and business folks on South 13th street in Omaha. We set up a Facebook page to explain it and get community participation. Visit it at https://www.facebook.com/13thstreetomahamural. This is pretty close to our final design. It has been a great joy to work on this project.

Omaha newspaper has good things to say about our work on Vinton street
“The changes are fabulous — especially the murals,” said Jan Burton, 63.
The store's interior features murals of old world traditions, designed and hand-painted on canvas rolls by Omaha-based artist Richard Harrison. Harrison has done mural work locally and for venues in Chicago, Minneapolis, South Carolina and Colorado.

Ribbon cutting for the Vinton Street Supermarcado murals and remodel was amazing
The mayor, leaders from South Omaha, leaders from multiple states in the Spartan/Finch grocery company and Los Lobos radio station were there and they recognized our team for all the artwork. a local priest blessed the business. Jose and linda Garcia, leaders of the Mexican Historical Societty of the Midlands were recognized for consulting with us on the exterior mural. Jose took lots of photos which I have put some on my blog but to see more and learn more about his work go to https://plus.google.com/app/basic/photos/106827218608302967215/album/5997879339659542577?source=appredir . There will be lots of free food and activities all weekend at the store to celebrate the remodel.
