We received a grant from the Nebraska Arts Council to help us with our vision
We just received a grant from the Nebraska Arts Council to help us with our vision of painting this on the side of the VFW building! we should find out about the Kiewit Foudation matching grant soon! St. andrew's UMC raised over 1,000 dollars and the Leavenworth and Midtown Neighborhood Associations have raised almost as much towards the project!

Well we received a bit of bad news today. The Kiewit Foundation chose not to award us any funding but we are not giving up. Our friends in the Leavenworth Neighborhood Assosciations are pursuing funding from other sources.
